On Sunday the 19 of April, nine of the thirty River
Watch members manned the phones for Prairie Public Television's
pledge drive. It was really quite the experience to answer the
phone properly. We were on the the air for 12 minute intervals and
had 25 minute breaks between them. We also got a tour of the process
of creating a production. We were also fed well and had many
opportunities to talk to the people in the studio. By the end
of next school year we will completed a documentary on the History
of Water in the Pembina Gorge. This is student production that
will be aired locally and, if it is received well, regionally.
On Monday the 20th we met with Randy Wald on the NDSU campus to go
aver the video's dialog and outline; we accomplished much more than
we expected. We have much work to do but, we have been making
progress.
