LiDAR Applications Workshop

LiDAR data have many applications including flood plain delineation, water quality protection, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, precision agriculture, and soil mapping.

Two workshops have been conducted to inform local, state, tribal, and federal resource management professionals, landowners, and researchers in the Red River of the North Basin about Lidar data applications and to point to potential accuracy obstacles when using Lidar data. Over 160 people participated in the 2 workshops offered on:
