Procedure/Outline

1)Raise question of plants and water vapor - ask if they have evidence that they give off water vapor into th eair (see their breath in morning, fog up a mirror) 2)Show a indoor plant and water it - explain that both people & plants give off water 3)Question: "Do plants give off water?" 4)Take plastic baggies and tie a baggie tightly over a branch (wrap snuggly) 5)Repeat with several plants. 6)Use p. 79 in "Every Drop Counts" to record time interval and check plants and answer questions. 7)Students will check plants and record on pages at appropriate intervals
