| 1. Teacher reads the poem (written and displayed on chart paper), "The Muddy Puddle" by Dennis Lee.
2. Discuss the words and ideas with the class.
3. Have students illustrate, write, or create a skit about the poem they just heard and discussed.
4. Students share their creation with those at their table. |
