Procedure/Outline |
| 1.Have students stand in a circle.
2.The teacher begins inside the circle. As the teacher walks in front of each student, he or she imitates the teachers motion. The students continue that motion until the teacher comes around to show a new motion.
3.Using this strategy, the teacher leads the students through the following series of motions;
rub your hands together, snap fingers, clap your hands together in an irregular cadence, slap hands on legs, stomp feet, slap hands on legs and stomp feet, stomp feet, slap hands on legs, clap hands in an irregular cadence,snap fingers, rub hands together, open palms(quiet).
4.Discuss each motion and the effect it mimics. |
