Procedure/Outline |
| Students will listen to a varity of bird songs from grassland inhabitants or wetland species.
Using only what they heard, students will decide what type of habitat the birds represent.
Students will be given pictures of the birds and asked to choose the correct one when the bird songs are repeated. |

| This activity will be done as a large group activity so that students may draw upon each others expertise. Even though some students may not be able to identify the song of each species, they probably will not have trouble distinquishing between the two habitats. |
