Prepare lists of how to track criminals, etc. Tell students about cholera epidemic. Describe symptoms. Talk about Dr. Snow and his role in this epidemic. Divide into groups. Give each group a map, victim cards and pens. Allow them time to study cards and mark victims on their maps. Write down common characteristics. After 20 minutes, ask if any group has located the source of the epidemic. Ask how they arrived at their conclusion. (Don't relate whether correct or incorrect.) One oat a time, have clue cards read.
