Procedure/outline
|
1. Organize students into small groups. Have students look through magazines. Ask them to locate and cut or tear out pictures that show the different seasons. Encourage students to look especially for pictures that contain water images.
2. Tell students to arrange the pictures in four piles; one pile for each season under the appropriate poster, then glue the pictures onto the posters.
3. Discuss the presence of water in each season. Have students discuss how water looks in each season

Modifications/Adaptions/ Extensions

Have each student do a quartered poster. Cut and paste construction paper to resemble a shuttered window into each quarter. Cut illustrations from magazines for each of four seasons and paste into windows - one season per window - to see the seasonal scenery |
Assessment
|
Have students identify pictures of the seasons, sort pictures to the right season, and compare the appearance of water in each season |
