1. Discuss the basics of volume and scope. (3-dimensional figures) 2. Split class into groups. Have students measure length of river section, width across bridges, and depth of river. (record and calculate) 3. Discuss the flow rate of a river. 4. Drop cork into water and time between bridges. Calculate flow rate. |
