Students will identify river vocabulary as it applies to Red River. Students will develop awareness of the scope of Red River.

Procedure/outline
|
Take students to new main avenue bridge (Red River) between Fargo-Mhd. As students walk across bridge they scavange for answers about Red River - length, elevations, towns it runs through, depth, etc, source, headwaters, down river. Students make rubbings of at least 3 towns Red River flows through. |
