Study about different types of bridge construction. Construct models out toothpicks/drinking straws/popsicle sticks. Visit local bridges and determine type of bridge construction. Sketch bridge/build bridge model from sketch. Town engineer reports on local bridge work and maintenance. Compare bridge between communities. Bridge movement: expansion/contraction summer vs. winter.
