Procedure/outline
|
1. Student or class will read book aloud or to self. 2. While reading, student will list animals mentioned in book. 3. After book is completed student will write a story with the point of view of the boat sharing many of the animals. |
Modifications/Adaptions/ Extensions
|
1. Students could make a nonfiction book of animals & facts instead of story. 2. Also-lists of weather words, jobs or careers, plants and cities could be used instead of animal list. |
Assessment
|
Students writing project (research fact book or story) will be accurate, gramatically correct & neat. |
