Procedure/outline
|
1. Student will work in a group. Each group will put hula-hoop on prairie area and pick one leaf of every prairie plant found. Then each group will count the number of each prairie plants found. 2. Each group will use tally chart material to make a graph exemplifying the plant diversity within the hula-hoop. |

"Hula-hoop" a lawn and compar finding. Discuss as a class. |
Assessment

Each group will have their tally chart & graph mathc based on plant diversity int he prairie. |
