Materials Needed
Watershed protection handout, can of water, rubber band, string, obstacle course (made of tables to step around, boxes to climb over, line to go under, etc.)
Time Requirement
25 minutes
Procedure/outline
Read "Good Watershed Neighbors" as a class. Break up into groups of 7-8 students. Follow activity on pg. 12. Discuss as a class what happened as each group moved through the obstacle course. What worked? What didn't work? Discuss why one person couldn't manage a watershed on his/her own.
