Procedure/outline
|
Make game board ahead of time. Hand out a game board & cards to each team. Give directions for the game. Object of game is to find the name of each plant on the game cards using the game board. Look at one of the game cards & begin at the word "start" & answer the paired 'yes' and 'no' questions on the board. When you reach the end of a branch with a name, place the card next to the name. Continue until all cards are used up or time limit is up. If you reach a branch that says "start over" you will know that you answered a quesiton wrong & you are to go back to the 'start'. |
Modifications/Adaptions/ Extensions

The game can be played until all cards are used up or amount of time can be set. The team with the most correct cards in place 'wins'. When finished, the teacher can hold up the correct answers & students can check their boards. |
