Objectives

Students will understand that water flows from a higher elevation to a lower elevation.

Materials Needed

Watershed Protection handout, wax paper (1 per student), paper cups (1 per student), water (1/4 cup or so), pencils, book or binder

Time Requirement

20 minutes

Procedure/outline

Read description as a class. Gather materials (wax paper, cups, water). Do activity as a class. Discuss. Clean up materials. Trace raindrop's journey/activity. Discuss.
