Procedure/outline
|
1. Brainstrom with the class a list of items, activities that were seen or done at the prairie. For example "A is for" ants, antlers, activity. 2. Assign each student a letter. 3. Student will finish starter "letter" is for____ then write more about what she/he learned about that activity or thing. About a paragraph. 4. Student will illustrate their writing. 5. Put together in a book for the class to enjoy. |

Assess paragraph formation and sentence conventions. Can use descriptive writing rubric form 'Scott Foresman Reading.' |
