Procedure/ Outline
|
1. Introduce the biggest killer of children in the world (waterborne diseases).
2. Discuss the concept of clear vs. clean water.
3. Tell the students you will be giving them a disease.
4.
Hand out envelopes containing symptoms and history of disease.

Ask each student to remove one slip of paper (symptom) at a time and act out the symptoms. Look for students with what they believe to be the same disease.
5.
Continue removal of paper slips and using the answer key, have them determine their disease.

Have students research their disease following the game. Review newspaper
clippings on water disease concerns across the country |
