Materials Needed

Water/think of: page 22 Project WET Curriculum & Activity Guide, water use cards: pages 412 & 414 (2 copies of each, make into a concentration game) What is Water?: pages 3 & 6 Our World of Water (Moorhead Public Service).

Time Requirement

None

Procedure/ Outline

1. As a group students will brainstorm different ways people use water. Ideas are written on the whiteboard and graphically organized;
2. Read "Just Add Water" following discussion, students will add to the web;
3. Using some of the cards found on pages 411 & 412 students will play a game of Concentration;
4. Page 3 What is Water? (fun sheet);
5. Page 6 How Do You Use Water (worksheet)

None

Assessment

Using page 22 from the Project WET Guide, students will draw and label that they think they learned about water
