Objectives

To identify the rivers, streams, and watersheds that make up the Red River

Standards Addressed

Materials Needed

Poster paper, marks, maps, physical maps of North Dakota, Minnesota and Manitoba, pencils

Time Requirement

Two 30-minute class periods

Procedure/ Outline

The students will label all the rivers and streams identifying all contributors to the Red River Watershed. These will be labeled on both sides of the river

Modifications /Adaptions/ Extensions

Special needs students label major contributors on both sides

Assessment

Test on geographical areas
